'Doll on a Music Box'

"Doll on a Music Box" is a song featured in the 1968 film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sung by Sally Ann Howes as Truly Scrumptious and Dick van Dyke as Caractacus Potts. In the song, Truly Scrumptious is disguised as a wind up music box doll, metaphorically and actually on a pedestal. Additionally, Truly sings about herself and her rigid nature, all behind the mask of the "doll" she is portraying.
