Mayhem At The Hilarium 


...is a short orchestral piece composed in May during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. And in hindsight, the 'Vivarium' we were mandated to remain in at the time our own 'bubble', has become a metaphor for the lyrics of this piece.

"And so it came to be that those wretched few, who had with tenacity, endeavoured to break free from the madness of the hilarium, had struggled and toiled to claim their freedom, looked around and immediately it dawned on them that their effots had been in vain, for their fate had been sealed from the outset, from within"
