Ships In The Night

is a cover of song released in 1976 by Bill Nelson's band, Be-Bop Deluxe. Taken from the band's third album 'Sunburst Finish' in 1976, the single was their most successful single in both the UK and the US. Also left in and tagged on to the end of this cover song, is the eponymous moment in the studio when when the Macwarriors Forbidden Rhythms Orchestra's harp player Irene Quantlemass-Puff, breaks a string just as Bill Nelson sings, "Like a harp without its strings"
