'Xanadu'
“Xanadu” released in 1980 as the title track for the film of the same name, is an exuberant fusion of pop and symphonic rock that captures the shimmer and spectacle of the era. Performed by Olivia Newton-John and backed by the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), the song is a flamboyant sonic journey into fantasy and romance—both retro and futuristic.
